IT’S A BOY!!! Nathan & Sherry Black of Shalimar, Florida, announce the birth of their son, Gabriel James Black, born May 15th. He weighed 3 lbs., 8 oz. and was 17 inches long. Although he decided to come early, he is healthy and strong. Paternal grandparents are Dennis & Cathy Black of Shalimar, Florida. Maternal grandparents are Noemi Gorospe of Manila, Philippines, and the late Geny Musico. Cards may be sent to Nathan & Sherry at 15 Handolin Lane, Shalimar, FL 32579.

GRADUATION SUNDAY – TODAY!! …honoring our seniors during worship and at a reception to follow in the Family Life Center. No Sunday School this morning. Come celebrate our graduates with us! This is also the Sunday that our current prayer sponsors should reveal themselves to the youth they’ve been praying for throughout the school year. Don’t forget to let them know Prayer Sponsors!!

MOTE IN CONCERT TONIGHT: Nashville Gospel recording artist Gordon Mote is featured in concert at Owensville United Methodist Church this evening at 6:00pm. The Dove Award nominee has played with artists such as Lee Greenwood, Trisha Yearwood, Tanya Tucker, Porter Wagoner, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Martina McBride, Bob Seger, Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker, Alison Krauss, The Gaither Vocal Band, and has been a part of the long-running Gaither Homecoming Tour, as well as earning numerous awards & top honors. A free will offering will be taken at the service. The public is invited.

YOUTH COALITION MEAL – TOMORROW: Patoka UMC will be serving the Youth Coalition Meal tomorrow, May 22nd at 12:30pm at PCMS cafeteria. Please be at Patoka UMC at 9:00am to help with preparing, transporting, serving, cooking & grilling, etc. If you can help by donating cookies, rice crispie treats, brownies (2 dozen per person please / and remember – NO NUTS), we ask that you have them to the church by 10:00am tomorrow morning or by this evening (21st). Sign-up sheets for both workers and food donations are on the foyer table.
If you can help at any point during the day, please let Laura Heidenreich know (812-385-5079), since we will be moving directly from the Youth Coalition Meal back to the church and into preparing for the PCHS Girls Tennis Banquet at 6:00pm. MUCH help will be needed tomorrow, the entire day. Thank you in advance for volunteering!

THE HOPPERS IN CONCERT: Southern Gospel Recording Artists The Hoppers will be in concert in the Family Life Center of North Friendship General Baptist Church (Pastor Spencer & Melissa Gaines’ church), on Thursday evening, June 1st at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. A free will offering will be received. The women’s ministry will serve concessions. North Friendship is located at 2244 IN-68 in Lynnville, Indiana. SPECIAL OLYMPICS BENEFIT RIDE: The Rolling Disciples motorcycle ministry of First General Baptist Church in Princeton hosts their 4th annual Benefit Ride on Saturday, June 3rd with proceeds benefitting Special Olympics. A BBQ pork dinner will be held at the church following the ride, with door prizes, silent auction, Chinese auction, free bike show/people’s choice award, and grand prize of a $250.00 gift card from J & P Cycle.
