Bulletin 5-29-16

When was the last time you asked someone to join you in church? It is our call to bring others to know Jesus more, to center on Christ once a week, it is the responsibility of ALL as disciples of Jesus –
“Therefore go and make disciples”.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT – The service we render for others is really the rent we pay for our room on this earth. (Wildred Grenfell)

Chronic poverty, lack of jobs, poor housing, and rugged mountainous terrain provide obstacles to a fuller life for the residents of this area. Red Bird Mission strives to meet these needs through Education, Health and Wellness, Community Outreach, Economic Opportunity, and Community Housing Improvement. How can you help this ministry? Save your Campbell’s Soup Labels, Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education, Tyson A+ Labels. Bring them to the church and give them to us to recycle. There is a wooden box on the lower shelf of the entryway table to deposit labels, or leave them on Melissa’s desk.
