Pantry Sunday is each communion Sunday [1st Sunday of the month]
We ask that you bring canned goods and non-perishable items [especially canned meats and/or box dinners] with you and place them in the collection box near the front doors.
We are fed by Jesus Christ on Communion Sunday, therefore we need to feed others.
Donations will be distributed to the Patoka Presbyterian Food Pantry (which assists PUMC in helping others when needed) and/or where the need is greatest.
Items which might also come in handy [these items cannot be purchased with food stamps]: soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dish soap, deodorant, paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste.
PLEASE NOTE that in January we’re doing something a little different… we’re collecting ALL MONTH LONG in anticipation of Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday on February 7th, 2016. We at PUMC have supported this nation-wide campaign for a number of years and we hope to better our record of last year!
Note: Souper Bowl of Caring is each year during January then obviously food pantry every first Sunday of month
